On ESGTransformation.com sustainable development is considered a transformational movement that follows the X-curve of transformation. A crucial factor to enable transformation is organisational culture, as "Culture eats Strategy for Breakfast".

ESG Transformation potential

An important organisational asset or even skill is the ability to transform the businessmodel and the operational activities in response to changing conditions in the business environment. Analysing organisational patterns can be very helpful to understand this ability, which we call transformation potential. The transformation potential of an organisation says something about agility, adaptability, flexibility, innovation, resilience and even about survival.

Schein's model of organisational culture

In the book The Corporate Tribe by Anthropologists Danielle Braun and Jitske Kramer Schein's model had been operationalised into two existential questions. They pose that a group can only call itself a group when those two questions can be answered:

  1. How do you organise external adaptation?
  2. How do you organise internal tuning?

These questions can be researched and answered by observing several aspects of organisational culture.
